Early Result of Imaging 3D Seismic Velocity Structure In Central Java Using Double-Difference Tomography

Abstract Central Java is a part of the Sunda Arc and has relatively high seismicity due to subduction zone between Indo-Australian Plate Eurasian Plate. This study uses double-difference tomography image P S wave 3D seismic velocity structures associated with tectonic patterns zones. The data used comes from earthquake catalogs BMKG, BPPTKG, DOMERAPI, MERAMEX, recording period May 2004 December 2020. number earthquakes that successfully relocated was 1930 1937 recorded by 285 stations. results hypocentre relocation show activity in originates geological structures, including zones, back-thrust, Opak Fault. tomogram models support each other. anomaly maximum resolution up 100 km depth. Low anomalies are found at Merapi-Lawu Anomaly (MLA), Modern Volcanic (MVA), Sumbing-Sundoro-Dieng volcanic complex, Banyumas-Cilacap sedimentary basin, Kendeng Basin. A low-velocity depth about 40-50 km, which process slab dehydration partial melting. inversion impact on activity, seismicity, developed Java.
